You be a newly admitted or up to 2 years’ PQE, with an interest in property and commercial leasing (leasing, property or commercial paralegal experience is an advantage).
Your new role
Will see you support the commercial leasing practice and build your skills on real matters from the start. Assist on files for a range of clients, including substantial family offices, developers, shopping centre owners and industry-leading business groups in the retail, hospitality, childcare and aged care sectors.
Draft and review leases, agreements for lease and related documents for landlords, tenants and developers, with guidance and feedback from senior lawyers; support retail, commercial, shopping centre and development matters, including due diligence, searches, lodgements and settlement tasks.
Also take part in negotiations with counterparties as your experience grows; and build your own client contact over time, starting with day-to-day communication on your matters.
