With a varied portfolio spanning custom-designed homes and medium-density developments, our client offers the variety and construction challenge to keep an accomplished building professional engaged.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead across the office and construction sites, maintaining a visible presence with supervisors and attending site as projects require. You will connect pre-construction, drafting, selections and construction administration so that sound planning translates into quality homes, reliable programmes and well-controlled costs.

This opportunity will suit an experienced Building Manager, Construction Manager or residential Project Manager who enjoys developing people and sees the potential for technology to make construction businesses work better. You will have scope to improve project systems, purchasing and reporting, and help your teams put those improvements into practice.

To be successful in this role, you must:

- Have proven residential project or construction management experience, with the capability to coordinate multiple builds and a strong understanding of medium-density or multi-residential delivery.

- Bring sound knowledge of the National Construction Code,



Australian Standards and relevant building and safety requirements, together with practical skills in interpreting plans, specifications and construction sequencing.

- Have a genuine interest in technology, business systems, construction software and AI, and be keen to apply that interest to better planning, reporting and project delivery.

- Lead and develop people through clear expectations, practical coaching and follow-through whilst building trust with office teams, supervisors, clients and trades.

- Keep projects moving by coordinating pre-construction decisions, procurement and site priorities, identifying risks early and resolving problems with sound commercial judgement.

- Understand budgets, forecasting, variations and progress claims, and manage procurement within agreed approval limits while respecting established supplier relationships.

- Be hands-on in improving purchase-order and work-order processes, project data and invoice controls. Help colleagues adopt useful software, automation and approved AI tools, checking that improvements work in practice.

- Communicate confidently, take responsibility for outcomes and maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and client service.

- Be a natural leader,
