The Cove Jervis Bay is a premier wedding and events venue located in Booderee National Park within the Jervis Bay region of NSW, with picturesque beachfront setting, luxurious accommodation, and exceptional service, and we are on the hunt for an amazing and gun Guest Service Manager !!
The Role
- Delivery of service - creating meaningful moments that go beyond expectations to leave a lasting impression for our couples and their guests.
- Assist guests arriving and departing the venue through the check in and departure process
- Handle general enquiries whilst going above and beyond with each guest experience
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests
- Working with couples and guest to understand their needs and how we can go above and beyond
- Completing quality checks and property inspections to ensure all guest experience is inline with brand standards.
- Work with F&B; supervisor and catering team to ensure a seamless delivery of wedding day services.
- Managing housekeeping department to ensure all guest accommodation is cleaned and kept at the highest standard.
- Handle complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts by negotiating with relevant parties
- Admin – handling all guest service admin including emails, preparing documents, ordering supplies and communicating with other departments.
- Rostering & supervising staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met focusing on attention to detail
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a similar guest-facing role within the hospitality or events industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with wedding couples, guests, and suppliers
- Robust organisational and multitasking abilities to manage the various elements of a wedding event
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the wedding industry is highly desirable
- Ability to commit to weekend work and some night work when required.
