Role Description The Site Coordinator is a full time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities on construction sites. This position involves coordinating trades and suppliers, scheduling work, and ensuring materials and resources are available as needed. The Site Coordinator monitors site safety, quality of workmanship, and compliance with project plans, building codes, and company standards. The role includes maintaining site documentation, reporting progress to project managers, and resolving on-site issues in a timely manner. The Site Coordinator works closely with clients, designers, and subcontractors to support smooth project delivery from commencement through to completion.





Qualifications

- Experience coordinating construction or building projects, including scheduling, site logistics, and stakeholder communication.
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines on busy sites.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, trades, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in basic computer and project tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, site reporting software); experience with construction management software is an advantage.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving site issues.
- Previous experience in construction, site coordination, or a related role; residential or commercial building experience is highly regarded.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, building, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Melbourne, VIC, including visiting multiple project locations as required.
