Site Civil Engineer

Rowe Constructions is a growing civil contractor delivering quality urban infrastructure and land development projects across Victoria. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Civil Engineer to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential subdivisions, road construction, drainage, sewer, water, and medium-density developments.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee day-to-day site operations

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews

Monitor project progress and programme compliance

Prepare and maintain QA documentation, ITPs, and lot records

Assist with project planning, procurement, and scheduling

Monitor project costs and quantities

Manage variations and project reporting

Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and council requirements

Liaise with clients, consultants, surveyors, and authorities

Promote and maintain a solid safety culture.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role,



you will have:

Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2 years' experience in urban civil construction and land development

Experience delivering subdivisions, roadworks, drainage, sewer and water infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and specification compliance

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project documentation

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Experience with GPS machine control, Civil 3D or 12d is advantageous

Current Victorian Driver's Licence
