A bit about myself and my team:

Hello! I'm the director of a film called “Restless…” that is heavily inspired by Frieren. We are a team of about 10 people with 2 currently in post-production based in Australia. Please note, this is a small indie film with a tight student budget. Our goals for this film is to expand our own portfolios and gain experience/insight across all sectors in the industry!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Create a straightforward ~30-second, polished 2D style piece, including character animation, colouring and a flower animation.
- Submit a rough animation draft and incorporate one round of feedback.
- Communicate with the director during the creative process.
- Submit a 24 FPS MP4 preview file.
- Submit an additional ProRes 4444 file of separate (alpha transparency) layers: character animation or/and anything else of importance.

Note: Compositing, backgrounds and sound design will be handled by our team.

PAYMENT: $120 AUD flat rate, split into two payments:

- $60 upon submission of the rough animation.
- $60 upon delivery of the final animation.

Please note the storyboard and character designs will not be fully rendered as we are a small team and have a limited timeframe :(. Although we are happy to assist with any questions you have!

Successful Applicants are:

- Communicative
- Learn from each other in the process, we are a student-production!
- The art style is semi-realistic but any is welcome!
- Have your own art equipment
