About the Role
A rare opportunity for an executive finance leader to step into a General Manager Finance - Construction role at a major Sydney infrastructure business. You will be the finance partner to the General Manager, protecting value across a large and growing construction program, and a trusted voice on contract and commercial risk. This is a senior leadership position with real influence over how projects are delivered.

The Responsibilities

- Partner with the General Manager on the financial and commercial performance of the construction program
- Manage major contract and commercial risk, and protect value across projects worth hundreds of millions
- Challenge project teams early and raise issues with confidence
- Lead financial reporting, forecasting and external submissions
- Build and lead a growing finance team, including a new leadership layer
- Work across site and office as the program requires

The successful applicant should have

- A senior finance background in a construction or contracting business
- Strong contract management and commercial judgement




- Experience managing the financial side of major projects, including cost forecasting and contract risk
- A proactive style, with the confidence to speak up and challenge
- Experience leading and developing a finance team
- CA or CPA qualification
- Sydney-based
