Brief Description

The Project Manager at CM Farms is responsible for leading and delivering agricultural projects from initiation through to completion. This role ensures that all projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget, while upholding high standards of quality, compliance, and safety. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and husbandry, to allocate resources, manage risks, and drive project outcomes. This position plays a critical role in the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of initiatives that enhance farm productivity, sustainability, and profitability.

Requirements

Essential knowledge, skills, and experience

- Degree qualification in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience managing capital projects, infrastructure developments or large-scale operational projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects from concept through to completion.




- Proven experience developing project management systems, frameworks and governance processes.
- Robust commercial, financial and contract management capability.
- Experience managing tendering, procurement and contractor selection processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience leading and developing project teams.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

- Experience within agriculture, livestock production or food manufacturing industries.
- Formal Project Management qualification (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent).
- Experience developing long-term infrastructure and master planning strategies.
- Knowledge of planning approvals, environmental compliance and development processes.
- Experience managing large capital expenditure programs.
