Willo Security Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable, professional and approachable Security Guard for ongoing night shifts at a residential aged care site in Narrabeen, NSW.
Consistent shifts are available Monday to Thursday, approximately 9:00pm–5:00am.
The site is home to veterans, including residents living with PTSD and dementia. We are looking for someone who combines a reassuring security presence with patience, empathy and sound judgement. A neat, tidy appearance and a calm, respectful manner are essential.
About the role
- Static guarding, overnight patrols and site checks
- Maintaining a safe and reassuring environment for residents and staff
- Responding calmly and sensitively to incidents or resident concerns
- Completing accurate incident reports and shift logs
- Assisting staff and residents where appropriate and within the scope of the role
- Working independently and remaining alert during quiet overnight periods
What we’re looking for
- Current NSW Security Licence—1A minimum
- Unrestricted driver licence
- Reliable availability for Monday–Thursday night shifts from 2100 to 0500
- Professional presentation, positive personal grooming and a tidy uniform
- Clear communication and a friendly, considerate approach
- Ability to adapt your tone and approach when supporting vulnerable residents
- Strong observation, reporting and decision-making skills
- A dependable attitude and commitment to consistent attendance
- Previous experience in aged care, healthcare or similar environments is highly regarded
