About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Store Assistant to join the MBROUD team in Casuarina, NT. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a well-organised retail environment. As a Store Assistant, you will be the face of our store, ensuring that every customer interaction leaves a lasting positive impression whilst supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail business.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance with product selection and queries

- Processing transactions at the till accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments with integrity

- Restocking shelves and displays, ensuring products are presented attractively and are clearly priced

- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe store environment, including tidying fitting rooms and stockroom areas

- Assisting with merchandise delivery and stock intake, recording inventory as required

- Supporting visual merchandising initiatives to create eye-catching displays that encourage sales

- Handling customer complaints professionally and seeking to resolve issues to ensure satisfaction

- Following company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

- Collaborating with team members to ensure excellent service standards are maintained at all times

What we're looking for

- Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping others and creating positive shopping experiences

- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly including potential weekends and public holidays as required by the retail calendar

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers





- Numeracy and cash handling experience, with attention to detail when processing transactions

- Physical fitness for the role, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry stock as needed

- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team

- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate

- Basic IT skills and familiarity with retail systems would be advantageous
