About the Role
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experiencedCurriculum Leader Assistant - Geography to join our Secondary Years team.
This is a middle leadership opportunity for an experienced Geography educator who is passionate about curriculum excellence, high-quality teaching, and student achievement. Working as part of a highly skilled teaching team, you will contribute to curriculum delivery, student wellbeing and the ongoing mission of excellence in teaching and learning across the Secondary School.

What You Bring
A relevant qualification in Education and specific qualification in Geography
Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration
Demonstrated experience teaching Geography in a Secondary school setting.
Experience collaborating with and influencing colleagues to foster a positive, high-trust and improvement-focused team culture.
Solid understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements within a secondary school environment.
Knowledge of contemporary teaching,



learning and assessment practices that support diverse student needs.
Strong classroom management, organisation and time management skills.
Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.

Position Description
St Peters Lutheran College (Indooroopilly) is a P-12 coeducational day and boarding college of 2,250 students. The Lower Primary with Years Prep–4 has three classes at each level. The Upper Primary provides a program tailored to meet the needs of students in Years 5–6. St Peters Junior High offers Years 7-9 students a program to support young adolescents. The Senior School provides a program for Years ***** with the International Baccalaureate Diploma offered alongside VET and QSA courses.
