About the Opportunity
An established food manufacturing operation in Tullamarine is currently looking to bring on a skilled Maintenance Fitter.
This role offers stable, long-term employment on day shift, with consistent overtime and a clean, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing and reactive maintenance on production equipment
Identify mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
Work closely with production teams to keep operations running efficiently
Complete planned maintenance activities in line with schedules
Ensure all work complies with food safety and site hygiene standards
Assist with equipment improvements and reliability initiatives
What You'll Bring
Trade qualification as a Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter
Previous exposure to food manufacturing or other hygiene-controlled environments is advantageous
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Awareness of food safety practices and clean work environments
Ability to manage your workload independently while contributing to a team
Reliable attitude with clear communication skills
