Our major goal is to provide industry with a comprehensive national service offering repair and maintenance of high and low voltage electric motors and generators.We have an opportunity in our service facility for a permanent position, located in Geelong, Victoria and looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, forward thinking experienced Electrical Fitter.Reporting to the workshop supervisor, key areas of duties and responsibility include, but are not limited to:Attend Toolbox mtgs as requiredAdhere to laws, codes, statutory rules and regulations, industry, and national standards.Work in a safe manner with respect to self and othersUndertake works to schedule and quality requirementsKeep accurate diary of meetings and daily activities.Rewind High Voltage AC and DC Electric Motors WorkshopPlan jobs to co-ordinate repair activities and organize tools and work methodsConduct detailed analysis and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and repair method of AC and DC Electric Motors.Troubleshoot and repair equipment.




Recommend changes such as recent equipment or modified procedures to improve performance and customer satisfaction.Adherence to company IMS requirements and standardsTo be successful in this role you will preferably have the following qualifications and experience.A trade qualification in Electrical Fitting of rotating equipmentExperience in AC & DC LV/HV Motors & GeneratorsA minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar industry and winding experience for HV Electric MotorsAbility to travel to site when requiredDriver's licenseForklift licenseHighly driven and energetic, you will enjoy working with a team, have excellent communication and customer service skillsProactive self-starter who can manage competing priorities and work under pressurePassion for safety, health and environmentPassion for quality of workIn return, we offer:Bob White Electrix offers suitably qualified applicants an attractive remuneration package in line with the applicant's experience.
