Architectural Roofing And Wall Cladding Pty Ltd is seeking a skilledCNC Machine Operator / Sheetmetal Workerto join our manufacturing team.
This is afull-time positionbased inHornsby, NSW.
In this role, you will operate and maintain Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery whilst performing sheetmetal work to produce high-quality architectural roofing and wall cladding components.
You will be integral to our production operations, ensuring precision, efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Operating CNC machines to cut, bend and form sheetmetal components according to specifications and drawings
Setting up CNC machines, including tool changes, calibration and programming adjustments as required
Performing manual sheetmetal work, including cutting, bending, folding and assembly of components
Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to ensure optimal production quality
Conducting regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machinery and workstations
Inspecting finished products for accuracy, defects and quality compliance
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets
Adhering to all health, safety and environmental workplace standards
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator and/or Sheetmetal Worker, ideally in architectural, construction or manufacturing industries
Competency in operating CNC machines, including setting up and basic troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of sheetmetal fabrication techniques and processes




Experience in light gauge metal fabrication
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and gauges
Physical capability to perform manual tasks and operate machinery safely
Reliable, punctual and committed to meeting production deadlines
Robust communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Relevant qualifications or certifications in CNC operation or sheetmetal work (preferred)
Previous experience with roofing or cladding products is advantageous
