RM - Swan Hill District Hospital - Maternity
Swan Hill District Health is seeking three experienced Registered Midwives to join their maternity team on a contract basis from 28 December **** through to 14 March ****.
This is an 11-week opportunity to work in a busy district hospital maternity service, supporting mothers and babies through pregnancy, labour, and the early postnatal period.
The client welcomes candidates who can commit to the full contract period, and is also open to midwives available for part of the dates.
11-week contract role in a district hospital maternity setting
Work with a dedicated maternity team delivering care across pregnancy, labour, and postnatal services
Adaptable entry: full contract or partial availability both considered
Preferred Requirements




Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
Level 3 FSEP (Fetal Surveillance Education Program) certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation certification
Demonstrated experience in maternity care, including labour and birth support
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary maternity team
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
Additional qualifications in maternal health, neonatal care, or related specialisation valued
