Leading the Nursing Home
Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of residential, nursing and dementia care
Lead, motivate and support the care and nursing teams, promoting a positive working environment
Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding and health and safety requirements
Oversee care planning, clinical governance and the delivery of person-centred care
Manage staffing, recruitment, budgets, occupancy and overall home performance
Build strong relationships with residents,



families and external healthcare professionals
Support staff development through training, supervision and performance management
Monitor quality assurance processes and implement continuous improvements
Promote residents' dignity, independence, wellbeing and quality of life
Maintain the home's Positive CQC standards while striving for further improvements

What We're Looking For
Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – preferred
Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care will also be considered
Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager – essential
Experience managing care services for older adults, including dementia care – essential
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and clinical governance
Proven experience leading, motivating and developing multidisciplinary care teams
Confidence managing occupancy, budgets, staffing and operational performance
A strong track record of maintaining high standards of care and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
