We're looking for a motivatedCarer Vocational Pathways Coachto join ourCarerGatewayteam for a Fixed-term position until 30 June ****, with Part-Time or Full-Time hours available.
About the role
You'll empower carers who are looking to return to work, start a current career or explore volunteering opportunities through personalised, strengths-based coaching, you'll help carers identify their skills, build confidence, explore career options, develop job-ready skills and successfully transition into employment.
You'll also build connections with employers, training providers and community organisations to create sustainable vocational pathways.

About You
A background in Community Services, Health, Welfare,



Social Services or Education, or 3+ years' relevant industry experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
A passion for empowering people and supporting individual goals and independence.
Understanding of employment barriers and the challenges faced by carers.
Strong problem-solving, service coordination and referral skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Mandatory Requirements
Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check.
Full working rights in Australia.
