Merchandiser / Trainee Territory Manager – FMCG Grocery
Our Victorian team is growing, with a fifth territory opening next year.
You'll start by working across our four existing territories, learning the business from the shelf up.
The plan is for you to step into that fifth territory within 12 months as Territory Sales Manager, with your package increasing to match, including commission.
Key responsibilities
Keep our range looking its best: facing up, gap checks, FIFO rotation, date checks, and chilled lines kept cold
Run shelf relays, build displays, and keep pricing and POS right
Take before-and-after photos every visit, because we judge our work by the shelf we leave behind
Get recent products onto shelf and make launches stick
Take orders and recommend the right range and pack sizes for each store
Cover territories when a rep is on leave
Build relationships with store owners, managers and department heads, and win new store accounts
About you
Experience in a supermarket, greengrocer or deli, or as a field merchandiser, across grocery, dairy/chilled or fresh produce
You know planograms and rotation, and you notice straight away when a bay isn't right
You want a career in sales (no sales experience needed – we'll train you)




You're reliable and organised, and you stay motivated working on the road on your own
Confidence talking with store owners and managers
Full driver's licence and able to handle physical work, including lifting cartons

Our customers range from independent supermarkets, including Ritchies, Drakes, Romeo's, Foodland, IGA and FoodWorks stores, to greengrocers, delis and organic stores.
Our head office is in Melbourne, and we also operate in NSW, SA and WA.
What we offer
$60,000–$65,000 + super, with a salary review at 6 months
