About the Facility
Carmel Aged Care is a 120‐bed, purpose‐built facility in the Perth Hills suburb of Carmel, set among natural bushland about 30 minutes from the Perth CBD.
The home features modern wings with private ensuites, landscaped gardens and contemporary common areas that create a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
We are looking for Registered Nurse to join our aged care team at Carmel Aged Care, in a Casual / Part Time capacity.
This role will primarily involve shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, from 7:00 am to 3:06 pm, across both weeks.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a key clinical leader within our aged care team, responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care to our residents.
You will combine clinical expertise with compassion, supporting residents' health, dignity, and quality of life while guiding and supporting care staff in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide comprehensive clinical care in line with best practice and aged care standards
Conduct assessments, develop, and review care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Administer medications, treatments,



and complex care interventions safely and accurately
Monitor, interpret, and respond to changes in residents' health conditions
Lead, support, and mentor care staff to ensure high standards of resident care
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and person-centred care
What You Will Bring
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting (highly regarded)
Strong clinical assessment and decision‐making skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Compassionate, calm, and skilled approach to care
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment
Commitment to person‐centred care and continuous improvement
A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
