Position Description
Dream Engineering & Fabrication Pty Ltd (trading as Dream Fabrication) is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder (First Class) to join our fabrication team on a permanent full-time basis.
The role involves welding and fabrication of metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and Australian Standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel and other metals
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components
Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, shaping, grinding, and cleaning
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality,



strength, and compliance with specifications
Carry out rework or repairs where required to meet quality standards
Maintain welding tools and equipment in valuable working condition
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and quality assurance requirements
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of full-time work experience as a Welder (First Class)
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade and/or Certificate IV in Engineering
Demonstrated experience in metal fabrication and welding processes
Ability to work from technical drawings and job specifications
Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices
Salary and Conditions
Annual salary between $77,000 and $82,000 plus Superannuation
Permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week)
