The School is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and committed Pre-Primary Teacher to join our School in ****.
This position as a Pre-Primary Teacher is full time (1.0 FTE), fixed term from 1 January **** to 31 December ****.
This is a maternity leave cover position.
Graduates are encouraged to apply if they hold relevant tertiary qualifications.
Maintain a clear understanding and knowledge of curriculum, values, attitudes, skills and content appropriate to Early Childhood and Primary education such as the Australian Curriculum, Curriculum Framework, EYLF and NQS etc.
Demonstrate a variety of teaching and learning pedagogies for individuals, small group, and whole classes.
Differentiate clearly, taking into account the needs of all students.
Vary the application of teaching strategies to provide deep learning in a challenging, productive and protected environment where all children are engaged.
Provide regular feedback to students about their performance and learning and develop self-assessment skills in students.
Promote a positive attitude to learning.
Foster student responsibility and independent learning.
Promote self-esteem and confidence.
Use self-reflection to improve student outcomes.




Collect and analyse data to inform teaching and learning.
Confidently use IT as a pedagogical tool to enhance student learning.
Respond appropriately to students' personal and emotional needs and development.
Understand that students are growing and developing in a digital world and they need to be creative, discerning and productive users of information and communication technologies, appropriate to their developmental stage.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education
High pedagogical standards – in particular play and inquiry based learning
Exceptional quality pastoral care
Desire to assist young people in achieving the best of their ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate positive relationships with all stakeholders
Growth mindset and can do attitude
