An experienced Cornice Maker / Plaster Caster role based in our manufacturing workshop in Truganina, Melbourne.
This is a stable, indoor factory role unaffected by weather.
Key responsibilities
Preparing silicone, rubber, and timber moulds for casting runs
Mixing casting plaster and laying sisal/hemp reinforcement
Running traditional bench moulds for architectural and custom profiles
Careful de-moulding, trimming, and finishing
About you
Prior experience in a plaster manufacturing plant or decorative casting shop
Deep understanding of plaster sets, mixes, and material ratios
High attention to detail and sharp eye for defects
Physically fit and reliable
Stable workshop setting with no site travel or weather delays
Excellent hourly rates based on experience
