The Role
Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the successful applicant will be accountable for the oversight of all construction & commissioning strategy execution; including safety performance, planning, schedule, cost and delivery of all field works within the contract.
The role will also be responsible to engage with Client project subcontract and associated anciliary 3rd party service providers including Wood direct labour to ensure project integration and coordination, and be accountable for co-ordinating head office, field industrial relations, resourcing, planning, reporting, site performance and continuous improvement for construction and commissioning field teams to successfully execute field works in accordance with the contract.

Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 15 years' experience in construction management / supervision and general project engineering in oil and gas industry
Team leader demonstrating focus, enthusiasm, sensitivity, mentoring and coaching qualities
Proven experience in the management of office, site construction, and commissioning teams
Experience in managing client and Wood direct 3rd Party Support Contractors, including productivity performance, safety & quality outputs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates effective delegation and team development with a focus on productivity and project integration
Ability to influence and challenge others to ensure project delivery aligned with the Wood project execution organisation and Wood policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and coordinate multiple crews in various field locations
Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
