Aspect Treetop School
providesplacement for approximately 90 students on the autism spectrum from ages 4 to 16 years providing small class sizes and additional staff support.
Aspect Treetop School is proud to be the only autism-specific education program for students from Reception to Year 10 in Adelaide.

What you will do
Aspect is a leader in education for children on the autism spectrum.
Working at Aspect means you will be supported by a team of passionate professional educators.
You will help create a learning environment that tailors to the individual needs of students through evidence informed best practice in autism.
Class sizes are small and you always have the assistance of a dedicated teacher aide.




You will work closely in a team that includes the student, family, teacher aide and other professionals such as our school psychologist, speech therapists and occupational therapists to develop and deliver quality learning programs.
This wrap-around multi-disciplinary approach to support means that you will gain new skills and work experience that can help you reach your qualified goals.

Qualifications
What we are looking for




Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB) registration to teach in SA
Special Education qualificationspreferred, but all applications considered
Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, or with other intellectual disability (desirable)
South Australian Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment
You may be required to provide an international police clearance.
