About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator / Boilermaker to join a busy and growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well established business delivering high quality fabrication and maintenance services across a range of industries.
Based in Townsville, this role offers a mix of workshop and site based work, providing variety and long term opportunities for skilled tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities
Fabrication and assembly of structural steel and components
Read and interpret workshop drawings and specifications
Perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding as required
Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools
Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
Comply with workplace procedures, WHS requirements and quality standards
About You
Trade qualified Fabricator / Boilermaker
Previous experience in a similar role
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Solid fabrication and welding skills
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
