About the role
As our People & Culture Coordinator, you'll lead training and development and be a trusted first point of call for employee relations.
Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, you'll support the wider P&C; team, advise managers on day-to‐day people matters, and help make sure our team is treated fairly, consistently and in line with the law.
Key responsibilities
Advise managers and employees on day-to‐day people matters
Support performance, disciplinary and workplace investigation processes
Interpret legislation and awards to keep the business compliant
Help develop and update policies and procedures
Plan, coordinate and deliver training across all departments
Oversee trainees and apprentices, and maintain training records
Support recruitment, onboarding and employment documentation




Assist with payroll accuracy, award compliance and work rights monitoring
Manage workers' compensation claims and support injury management
Promote a safe, healthy and respectful workplace
What you'll bring
Experience in an HR/P&C; coordinator or generalist role, ideally in hospitality
Hands‐on experience supporting employee relations, such as performance management, disciplinary processes or workplace investigations
A solid working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES and modern awards (Hospitality Industry (General) Award, Hair and Beauty **** Award experience highly regarded)
Confidence coaching managers through difficult conversations
Experience coordinating or delivering training
Experience with Employment Hero system (or similar)
Sound judgement, discretion and a commitment to confidentiality
