We are looking for a reliable, motivated and detail-oriented professional who can deliver high-quality painting and decorating services across residential and commercial projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces by removing old paint, wallpaper, loose material and imperfections.
Cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and holes, and smoothing surfaces before painting.
Applying primers, sealers and undercoats to ensure proper adhesion and durability.
Selecting and preparing paints, varnishes, stains and other finishing materials.
Mixing paints and matching colours to meet project specifications.
Applying paint, varnish and other finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
Erecting scaffolding, ladders and other access equipment safely when required.
Applying decorative finishes, textures and protective coatings.
Measuring surfaces and estimating quantities of paint and materials required.
Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and job specifications.




Ensuring all painting work meets quality standards and client expectations.
Maintaining painting tools, equipment and a clean, protected work environment.
Following workplace health and safety procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent relevant qualification) is highly desirable.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant painting experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience in residential and commercial painting.
Sound knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation and finishing methods.
Ability to operate painting tools, spray equipment and other relevant machinery.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Current driver's licence is desirable.
