Benefits Play a pivotal role in building and scaling the client's internal project management function, with direct influence on strategic growth Liaise with cross-functional teams across R D, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and regulatory, gaining exposure to full product lifecycle projects Support high-value capital projects exceeding $10 million, including technology transfer and manufacturing scale-up Establish governance frameworks and project systems that will support the organisation's long-term growth and operational excellence Work onsite in Brisbane with direct access to senior leadership and external partners, including CDMOs Contribute to projects that impact patient access to innovative medicines, with clear project milestones and deliverables Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate multiple pharmaceutical development and capital projects from concept to commercialisation Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements Establish governance, reporting structures and project methodologies aligned with organisational goals Manage dependencies, risks, issues and change control across project portfolios Support manufacturing scale-up, operational readiness, and technology transfer activities Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership to ensure project alignment and timely delivery Track project progress and translate complex data into clear,



concise reports for executive review Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field Minimum 5 years' project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related manufacturing environments Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, managing scope, timelines and budgets Robust knowledge of pharmaceutical development processes and GMP manufacturing standards Experience managing risks, dependencies and communicating complex project status to senior stakeholders Excellent organisational, stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills Ability to influence without direct authority and navigate ambiguity in a growing biotech setting Desirable Skills Qualifications Master's degree or higher in relevant discipline, with PMP or equivalent certification Experience leading large-scale capital projects over $10 million, including blue- and greenfield manufacturing builds Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience supporting API, sterile, or radiopharmaceutical projects Background supporting global development organisations and handling technical transfer or scale-up initiatives Strong facilitation, change management, and leadership skills suitable for a high-growth environment If you think this could be the role for you, please apply now.
