Key Responsibilities 1.Software Requirements Analysis: Analyse business and technical requirements, evaluate existing software applications, and identify opportunities for system improvements to support the company's e-commerce operations and business processes.
2.Software Architecture Design: Design and enhance software architecture, application components and back-end services, ensuring that software solutions meet functional requirements and maintain appropriate levels of performance, security and scalability.
3.E-commerce Application Development: Develop, modify and maintain software applications and functionalities supporting product management, search and filtering, stock availability, shopping carts and online order processing, in accordance with technical specifications.
4.System Integration Database Development: Design,
develop and maintain APIs, database functions and system interfaces to facilitate the exchange of product, inventory and order information between the company's e-commerce platform and related business systems.
5.Software Testing Debugging: Conduct functional, integration and regression testing, diagnose software errors and defects, and implement corrective solutions to ensure applications meet technical specifications and quality standards.
6.Software Deployment Optimisation: Implement software updates, monitor application performance, troubleshoot technical issues and optimise system reliability, efficiency and security to support ongoing business operations.
7.Technical Documentation Collaboration: Prepare and maintain software design specifications, technical documentation and operational procedures, and work with management and relevant teams to evaluate technical requirements and implement software improvements.
Requirements Bachelor's degree 5+ years of dedicated experience as a Software Engineer or Full-Stack Developer.
Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or C#), with familiarity with up-to-date web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and responsive design principles.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
Understanding of database systems and API integration.
Demonstrated capability in software application development, testing, debugging, and problem-solving, with a focus on clean and maintainable code.
Ability to communicate technical solutions effectively with non-technical stakeholders to meet business objectives.
