Due to ongoing production requirements, they are looking to add experienced Machine Operators to their team across afternoon and night shift.
Available Shifts Rates Afternoon Shift 3:00pm – 11:00pm $37–$41 per hour + 15% shift loading Night Shift 10:00pm – 6:00am $37–$41 per hour + 30% shift loading Higher rates negotiable for experienced senior operators.
About the Role Working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating production and packaging machinery, maintaining output and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
The role will involve a combination of production, packaging and sanitation duties, with opportunities for experienced operators to take on greater responsibility.
Key Responsibilities Operating and monitoring production and packaging machinery.
Operating flow wrapping equipment and ensuring consistent packaging quality.
Completing machine adjustments and troubleshooting minor operational issues.
Assisting with production line changeovers and maintaining production output.
Undertaking cleaning and sanitation duties across machinery and production areas.
Completing quality checks and following food safety procedures.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
About You Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production.
Experience operating production or packaging machinery.
Flow wrapper experience highly regarded.
Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements.
Reliable, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace.
Senior operator or team leadership experience highly regarded, particularly for night shift opportunities.
