Join a growing WA mining and civil contractor and become part of an experienced and supportive finance team.
We're looking for a capable Payroll Officer with at least 3 years' experience who can hit the ground running and confidently manage payroll in a busy operational environment.
Experience within the mining industry or working with complex rosters would be highly regarded.
This is a great opportunity to join an established business on a temp-to-perm basis, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Your responsibilities will include: Processing end-to-end payroll in a timely and accurate manner Managing timesheets, attendance records and employee pay information Reviewing and processing overtime, allowances, penalties and leave entitlements Working with operational teams to resolve timesheet and payroll queries Ensuring payroll is processed in line with relevant awards,



agreements and company policies Maintaining accurate employee payroll records and information Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies Supporting month-end and EOFY payroll requirements Providing general support to the wider finance team as required Ideally, you'll bring: Minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll position Previous experience within mining, resources or a similar operational setting highly regarded Experience processing payroll for employees working across different rosters and shifts Pronto experience preferred, but not essential.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, allowances, overtime and entitlements Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills What's On Offer?
