The Opportunity We are seeking experienced Maintenance Leading Hand to take on a range of maintenance activities and supervision at Pembroke Resource's recent project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.
Pembroke Resources' Olive Downs Complex is an exciting autonomous mine project located south-east of Moranbah , with mining operations that started mid-****.
Thiess proudly delivers full-service mining operations, including mine planning, overburden removal, drill and blast, autonomous load and haul, water management, rehabilitation, and the construction of mine infrastructure.
Camp is located at Civeo Coppabella, with bus transport provided daily from camp to site.
A bus service is also available for locals, making it easy to join our team and be part of this world-class operation.

Olive Downs Complex, Bowen Basin, QLD | Employment Type: Permanent Full-time As the Maintenance Leading Hand, you will: Lead a skilled mobile maintenance team following Supervisors' and Superintendents' directives Fulfil the Maintenance Supervisors' duties in their absence Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of equipment as directed in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication, and maintenance systems documentation Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems Provide technical information to staff and operations personnel Source and requisition parts and/or equipment requirements through the appropriate manuals or publications using the correct ordering procedure Verify the implementation of solutions and/or control further non-conforming machinery until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected About you Cert III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent Current Standard 11 Current S123
