Profectus is seeking multiple experienced Senior Business Analysts or Senior Product Analysts to support a registry modernisation program within an Australian Government agency. You will define requirements and business rules for registries moving from an ADABAS/Natural mainframe and Siebel CRM to Dynamics 365, OutSystems/.NET and cloud platforms. The work covers requirements and process analysis, user stories and backlog refinement, legacy system analysis and testing support.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit and document requirements, processes and business rules with stakeholders
Write user stories and acceptance criteria and refine backlogs with product managers
Maintain traceability to legislation, policy and design decisions
Support testing, UAT and defect triage
Work with designers, engineers, data and change teams
Pair with agency analysts and share methods and templates
Contribute to the BA community of practice
Required Experience
6+ years in business analysis on technology-enabled programs
Requirements, process modelling and business rules analysis




Agile delivery, including user stories and acceptance criteria
Government or regulated environments
Workshop facilitation
Transparent written and verbal communication
Legacy system analysis or data migration
CRM or low-code platforms such as Dynamics 365 or OutSystems
Registry, licensing or regulatory programs
IIBA certification
Security Clearance Requirements
Must be an Australian Citizen
Must have a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)
Working Arrangements
Onsite at client premises
Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane or Traralgon (VIC)
