Engineering Fabrication Apprenticeship (Aluminium Boat Building) Part-Time to Full-Time Prospect Ready to turn your welding skills into a long-term trade career?
We're looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Engineering Fabricator to join a skilled team building high-quality aluminium boats.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on unique projects, develop advanced fabrication skills, and complete a nationally recognised trade qualification while learning from experienced industry professionals.
This role will commence on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week) before transitioning into a full-time apprenticeship for the right candidate.
About the Role Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will gain hands-on experience in: Aluminium boat fabrication and construction TIG welding and fabrication techniques Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Measuring, cutting and assembling components Workshop equipment and power tool operation Quality control and finishing work Safe work practices within a fabrication environment About You To be successful, you will have: Previous welding experience and capability (essential) Genuine interest in fabrication,
engineering and boat building Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Reliable transport and driver's licence Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively within a team Commitment to completing an apprenticeship What's on Offer?
