About the role
Are you a friendly, organised and motivated Dental Receptionist looking to join a supportive and professional team?
Yandina Dental & Implant Centre
is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our busy, well-established practice in Yandina on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
This position will initially be
casual, approximately 2–4 days per week
, with the potential to transition into a permanent position over time, depending on practice requirements and mutual suitability.
We are a modern
5-chair dental practice
, with a team of
2–3 receptionists working together each day
. You'll be part of a collaborative front-office team where communication, teamwork and delivering exceptional patient experiences are our priorities.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes initiative and genuinely cares about providing outstanding service to patients.
Key responsibilities
Welcoming patients and creating a positive, professional first impression
Managing appointments, scheduling, confirmations and recalls
Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
Processing payments, health fund claims and other reception transactions
Coordinating treatment bookings and patient follow-ups
Maintaining accurate patient records and completing general administrative tasks
Communicating effectively with dentists, clinical staff and fellow receptionists
Helping maintain an organised, efficient and welcoming reception environment
What we're looking for
Previous dental reception experience is preferred, but not essential.
We also welcome applications from candidates with strong medical reception,



administration or customer service backgrounds who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence managing multiple tasks in a busy environment
Good computer literacy and administrative skills

Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Experience with
Dental4Windows
or other dental practice management software would be an advantage.
