We are seeking an experienced chef or cook to help deliver a menu that balances classic pub favourites with creative seasonal dishes. This role suits someone who enjoys a busy service, cares about consistency and presentation, and wants to work in a venue where food and beer are closely connected. You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas and be part of a passionate team dedicated to providing a great experience for every guest.
We are offering a competitive salary package for a 4-day, 38-hour week, plus paid overtime and superannuation.
Key responsibilities
Produce popular food (parmas, burgers, fish & chips) and more interesting items for foodies
Ensure food comes out rapid but looks good
Work safely and follow all kitchen policies and procedures
Work well in a team and independently




Work weekends and evenings
Be willing to cover extra shifts if other chefs are away, call in sick, or if there are public holidays
Create meals with on-site brewed beer and make food that goes well with beer
About you
Experienced chef or cook
Reliable, honest, and stable
Customer focused (able to handle complaints, late arrivals, special requests)
Able to cope with pressure when busy
Able to remain motivated when quiet
Respectful and non-aggressive
Willing to work weekends and evenings
Willing to work in Woodend, Vic
