Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Remedial Massage Therapist role based in Darwin, NT. The therapist will provide remedial and sports massage treatments, including assessment of muscular and soft tissue conditions, development of treatment plans, and delivery of appropriate manual therapies. Daily tasks include conducting client consultations, maintaining accurate treatment records, supporting stress management and recovery goals, and advising on self-care strategies such as stretching and postural awareness. The role also involves collaborating with other health professionals when needed, contributing to a clean and protected treatment environment, and offering professional,



respectful customer service to ensure a positive client experience.
Qualifications
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and maintain skilled client relationships.
Demonstrated capability in therapeutic massage and body massage techniques, with a focus on remedial and sports applications.
Experience or training in Shiatsu or related modalities, with the ability to integrate these techniques into holistic treatment plans.
Skills in stress management support, including helping clients relax, recover, and manage muscular tension.
Relevant qualification in Remedial Massage (e.g., Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent) and eligibility for professional association membership.
Current first aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain these credentials.
Understanding of professional ethics, privacy requirements, and safe practice standards within a clinical setting.
Ability to work independently, manage appointment schedules, and contribute positively to a small team setting.
