Permanent full-time work with a 9-day fortnight
Weekly pay plus Foundry Allowance
Work locally with an established Innisfail employer
No foundry experience? Bring your work ethic and willingness to learn
Northern Iron & Brass Foundry (NIBF), part of Iplex, has been part of the local community since ****. Based in Wangan, just outside Innisfail, we manufacture iron, bronze, aluminium and steel castings supplied across Australia and internationally.
We are looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our team as Production Operators.
What is the job really like?
We want to be upfront. Foundry work is hot, physical and hands-on. You will be on your feet, working with tools and equipment and learning different parts of our production process along the way.
For the right person, it also offers something valuable, permanent local work, a 9-day fortnight, weekly pay and the prospect to learn practical manufacturing skills without having to leave the Innisfail area.
You do not necessarily need foundry experience. If you have worked in agriculture, construction, trades, manufacturing, processing, warehousing or another hands-on environment, we would like to hear from you.
You could be a great fit if you

Can work safely in a hot industrial environment
Enjoy learning practical skills and working with tools and equipment
Have good mechanical awareness and attention to detail
Enjoy being part of a team and getting stuck in

Why join NIBF?
Permanent full-time employment
9-day fortnight

Paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers
Employee Assistance Program and employee discounts and rewards
Mental Health First Aiders on site
The opportunity to work close to home and build a long-term career locally
NIBF is part of Iplex. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from people of diverse backgrounds, experiences and identities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, culturally and linguistically diverse communities and LGBTQIA+ people.
