Scotland Marshall Plumbing – Camberwell VIC
Metal Roofer: Architectural Cladding and Re-Roofs | Melbourne
Read this before you apply. This job is for a gun, and we'd rather you found out now if that's not you.
Scotland Marshall Plumbing does high-end residential construction, roofing and plumbing across Melbourne. We're a young, fast-moving crew that takes pride in the work, and we're looking for an experienced metal roofer who can run a roof from start to finish and bring others up with them.
This job isn't for you if:
You don't want to be on site at 6:50am with your tools out, ready to start at 7:00.
You're not committed to a full day. We work until 3:30pm, and you're there until the job's done properly.
You're not interested in overtime when the job needs it.
You've only done one type of roof. We need someone who can handle architectural cladding, re-roofs, and commercial metal roofing.
You don't want to lead. You'll be running roofs and managing guys on the tools, and you'll be accountable for the result.
You're happy with "good enough." Our clients are high-end, and the finish matters.
You don't care about systems. We run on process, not guesswork.
You're not interested in technology. We use apps every day and we're building AI into how we work, and you'll be expected to use it.

You're not keen on working with a group of young guys, building a crew you'd back.
You're not motivated to push yourself, and the people around you, to be better.
This job is for you if:
You're a proper tradesman who knows how to read a roof, plan it, and run it from start to finish.
You've got serious experience in metal roofing: architectural cladding, re-roofs and commercial work.
You can manage and mentor guys without needing to be told how.
You take pride in a clean, exact finish.
You want to be part of a crew that holds each other to a high standard and has a good time doing it.
What you'll need:
A minimum of four years' roofing experience
A current white card
What you'll get:
Quality work on high-end projects, a team that backs you, double time for overtime, and a real opportunity to lead.
A dual cab work vehicle
An iPad for drawing up and measuring roofs
Work boots and uniform supplied
Double time for overtime
Quality work on high-end projects, a team that backs you, and a real opportunity to lead
Timing:
We're looking for someone to start by January. If you can start straight away, even better. We'll run a skeleton crew through late December and we're back full time on January 4th.
