Building on over 40 years of
successful major project delivery, we are seeking a Bid Manager who will lead
high-value tenders across major infrastructure projects.This role
will do more than just coordinate and will require someone with a strong
technical and commercial understanding.
It will suit a seasonal Bid Manager or
a Project Delivery Manager that wants to step into the pre-contracts
environment and demonstrate their strategic skills.
What You'll Do
Lead D&C; and Construct only
bids for the full tender life cycle including post-tender clarification,
negotiation support and handoverLead bid kick-off meetings and
workshops, ensuring responsibilities, milestones and critical timeframes
are clearCoordinate and lead
multi-disciplinary bid teams ensuring a "one team" approachDevelop and manage the bid
strategy, win themes, value proposition and bid execution plan including
costs and budgetCoordinate bid/no-bid assessments
and provide recommendations addressing strategic fitMaintain effective relationships
with clients, JV Partners, Consultants and Sub-contractors.
About You
Knowledge of D&C; and Alliance/JV contracting models, applying a strategic lens to risk and prospect to secure and protect project marginsDemonstrated leadership underpinned by on-site experience, with the ability to provide technical and commercial solutions that provide a distinct competitive advantage in the marketA history of successful D&C; bid and project delivery, demonstrating the ability to lead tenders to highly successful outcomesCapability to forge trusted, long-term strategic partnerships with clients and lead cross-functional teams toward unified commercial objectivesA strong technical engineering insight and sharp commercial acumen,



ensuring that bids are technically sound and commercially optimised for maximum return on investmentBachelor's degree in civil engineering or related, with postgraduate qualifications in project management or business viewed favourably.
