This role is suited to a Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a busy clinical environment and who will help ensure appointments run efficiently and patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment.Key responsibilitiesConfident chairside assisting across a variety of dental proceduresAnticipating clinicians' needs and preparing for upcoming proceduresSupporting patients throughout their treatment, including those who may feel anxious or require additional reassurancePreparing surgeries, instruments and materials to a high standardManaging sterilisation and infection control in accordance with practice protocolsMaintaining clean, organised and well-stocked surgeriesMonitoring clinical supplies and helping ensure the team is prepared for the day aheadWorking collaboratively with dentists, reception and the wider team to support an efficient patient journeyAbout youAt least 2 years of dental assisting experience, with the confidence to work independently and support clinicians across a variety of proceduresStrong chairside skills and the ability to anticipate what's neededA sound understanding of sterilisation, infection control and clinical protocolsExcellent communication skills and a warm, reassuring manner with patientsInitiative, reliability and the ability to stay organised when things get busyA positive, adaptable attitude and a genuine team-first mindsetA willingness to learn, take responsibility and contribute to the ongoing success of the practiceCertificate III in Dental Assisting (advantageous)Experience using EXACT practice management software (advantageous)Exposure to orthodontics, implants, cosmetic or restorative dentistry (advantageous)If you're an experienced Dental Assistant looking for a supportive team, varied clinical experience and a workplace where your contribution is genuinely valued, we'd love to hear from you.Please email your resume and a short cover letter outlining your experience and what you're looking for in your next role to: ****** a confidential chat, contact our practice manager, Sianne Olsen on **************.
