McGuire Hotels is seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join our team in Morningside, QLD.
This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing an essential service to our guests.
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their stay and ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive.
This role is pivotal to creating positive first impressions and maintaining the high standards McGuire Hotels is known for.What you'll be doingGreeting guests warmly upon arrival and checking them in using our hotel management systemsResponding promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests and complaintsProcessing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accuratelyManaging room bookings, modifications and cancellations with attention to detailProviding information about hotel facilities, services and local attractionsHandling payment transactions securely and processing invoicesMaintaining accurate records and updating guest information in the systemCoordinating with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issuesAnswering telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriatelyPerforming administrative duties including mail handling and message takingWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a front office, reception or guest-facing role within the hospitality industryProficiency in using hotel management systems and computerised booking platformsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer serviceStrong organisational abilities and attention to detailAbility to remain calm and professional when managing multiple tasks and guest requestsReliable,
