Our client, a globally connected engineering and project delivery consultancy, is looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join their Brisbane team and help shape some of the region's most complex and rewarding projects.

You'll take ownership of electrical engineering deliverables from concept through to commissioning, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, practical, and high-quality solutions for clients.

and other technical documentationAct as the go-to discipline expert, providing technical direction within multidisciplinary project teamsContribute to capital cost estimates, engineering schedules, and broader project planningKeep designs aligned with the relevant Australian and international standards, regulations, and internal proceduresStay closely involved through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handoverCoach and develop engineers, building a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvementChampion strong QA/QC practices so every deliverable is safe, accurate, and fit for purposeAbout youYou'll hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a minimum of 15 years' experience as an electrical engineer, including experience gained within a consultancy environment.
You'll also bring experience delivering electrical engineering solutions across, engineering, mining, energy, or infrastructure environments, along with a track record of leading project teams and managing electrical engineering deliverables across the full project lifecycle.
Ideally, your experience is commensurate with CPEng status.
You bring a strong understanding of relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering best practice, along with the communication skills to build effective relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
