Experienced Excavator Operator – Civil & Electrical InfrastructureExperienced Excavator Operator – Canberra ACTFuzlec Pty LtdCanberra ACT | Melbourne / Victoria Applicants EncouragedFull-time | Long-term project through to ****Fuzlec is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Canberra, ACT.This is a long-term position, with the current project expected to continue through to ****.The role would suit either:A Canberra/ACT-based operator looking for secure, long-term work; orA Melbourne/Victoria-based operator who is happy to work away from home.The RoleYou will be involved in civil works associated with electrical and infrastructure construction, including:Excavation and trenching for underground servicesExcavating around existing servicesInstallation of conduits and pitsDetailed excavation and preparation worksBackfilling and reinstatementReading plans and working to levelsOperating excavators and associated plantDriving company trucks as requiredWorking closely with electricians and civil crewsAssisting with general civil duties when requiredWhat We're Looking ForTo be considered, you will need:Robust excavator experience within civil constructionExperience working around underground servicesTrenching, conduit and pit installation experienceCurrent HR truck licenceExcavator competency/ticketsConstruction Industry White CardCurrent driver's licenceStrong understanding of safe excavation practicesAbility to read plans and work to levelsGood communication and teamworkA practical,
