Due to their continued growth, a need is available for a high calibre Production Manager to join this Australian owned business.ROLEBased in Logan, south of Brisbane and reporting to the Operations Manager, as the Production Manager in this business you will oversee all production activities, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
You will lead the production team, drive process improvements and work closely with the Commercial, Service and Logistics teams to hit production targets and keep customers happy.The duties will include:Leading, training and supervising the production team, including the Production Supervisor and Laundry Team LeadersOverseeing WHS on the production floor and keeping the site compliant, clean and organisedDriving labour utilisation, efficiency and cost control against budget and KPIs (labour cost, KPOH, rewash, reject rate and DIFOT)Managing linen processing and stock levels, including planning around public holidays and breakdownsWorking with Service and Account Managers to resolve customer issuesOverseeing machine maintenance, rewash procedures, contractors and suppliersDeveloping and managing the departmental budgetOUR CLIENTOur client is a leading service provider to the health, hospital, aged care and hospitality industries with multiple sites based in Australia.
