The Drafter role is an intermediate level position, reporting to the National Drafting Manager and management staff in the Melbourne office.
As part of the Drafting and Design Team based at the Sydney facility in Warwick Farm, you will be designing and drawing innovative structures for events held nationally and globally.
Training and on-going guidance are provided.Key responsibilitiesPreparing drawings and technical plans that comply with customer specifications, BCA standards, and business drafting guidelinesLiaising with the production, operations, and fabrication teams to ensure structures are practical to build and make the most of equipment in stockOccasionally interfacing with customers to clarify their requirementsAttending site periodically to gain a feel for the event and structures being designedVisiting the warehouse to familiarise yourself with the equipment being drawnDocument preparation and document managementAssisting with general business and office activities, as directedAbout youExperience in AutoCAD for 2D and 3D modellingA flair for calculations and problem solving,
