Our people share a common goal and vision - to provide better insights to our referring clinicians and their patients.About the roleWe are currently seeking experienced Laboratory Assistants to join our team based in our up-to-date, state of the art laboratory in Hendra, Brisbane.
Your main responsibilities will be routine receipting and processing of specimens, pre- and post-analytical specimen handling, identification and prioritisation of urgent specimens, and filing and storage of specimens.
You will participate in a full-time roster, which involves shift work predominately in the afternoons including evening and weekends.All specimen reception tasks, including:Receipting and processing samplesPre-analytical dutiesPacking specimens for transportationAccurate, timely data entry and records managementAttending to phone calls as requiredAdhering to relevant policies,
