Nexar Group is seeking Security Officers to work across multiple locations in Melbourne and Eastern Suburbs, covering hospitals and retail environments.
You will be responsible for maintaining security, supporting customers and clients, and responding to incidents across fixed locations with long-term coverage opportunities.Key responsibilitiesSupport Nexar Group with 20+ hours per week across 4 to 7 day roster with shift lengths of minimum 4 hours to maximum 12 hoursProvide excellent customer and client serviceLiaise with police and emergency response services when necessaryVerbally de-escalate situationsIdentify risks and resolve issuesDeter theft and report missing assetsWork autonomously and in a groupAdapt to situations that arisePerform static and roving dutiesAbout youCertificate II in Security OperationsValid Security License and current First Aid CertificateFull, unlimited right-to-work in AustraliaAbility to work days and/or nightsAbility to perform static duties from 4-12 hour shiftsWilling to work on rotating roster and cover ADHOC shiftsAble to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectivelyGood written and verbal communication skillsGood customer and client service skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a cooperative wayPhysical capacity to perform the duties of the position including static and roving rolesCrowd control experience and customer serviceAbility to travel to Melbourne CBD and surroundsEmployee WWCC card or willing to applyNPC check or willing to attainAbout usNexar Group was founded in Melbourne in **** with a unique purpose to influence and drive change to the security industry.
