No previous hydraulic experience is required, with full training and on-the-job development provided.About the RoleAs an Apprentice Mobile Service Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians and receive practical training across hydraulic hose assembly, fitting, installation, servicing and repairs.You will eventually travel to customer sites throughout the local area, providing onsite service and support to a range of customers.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting experienced technicians with onsite hose servicing and repairsLearning to assemble and install hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittingsUsing hand tools, measuring equipment and service machineryLearning to identify and troubleshoot hose and fitting issuesAssisting with the operation and maintenance of the Mobile Service UnitCompleting service documentation and work ordersDeveloping strong customer service and communication skillsFollowing all workplace health and safety proceduresWorking as part of a supportive team while developing your ability to work independentlyParticipating in overtime and an on-call roster as you progress in your trainingYou will ideally have:A genuine interest in pursuing a career in mechanical fitting, hydraulics,



fluid power or a related tradeStrong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approachA willingness to learn and develop new technical skillsComfortable using basic hand tools or a willingness to learnGood communication and problem-solving skillsA strong work ethic and reliable attitudeA commitment to safety and qualityAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamA current manual Australian driver's licence or the ability to obtain oneFull working rights in AustraliaPrevious industry experience is not essential.
