You'll be guiding civil design and delivery across a range of infrastructure projects while staying close to the detail where it matters.Day to day, you'll be:Leading and mentoring engineers and designers, supporting their growth and maintaining strong technical standardsOverseeing project delivery from scoping through to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are metProviding senior technical input and signing off on designsManaging client relationships and acting as a key point of contactCoordinating internal and external resources to keep projects movingIdentifying risks early and managing variations before they become issuesYou'll also play a part in building client relationships and contributing to new work opportunities as the Brisbane team continues to grow.What we're looking forWe're looking for someone who brings both credibility and practical leadership.Must have:Significant experience in civil engineering, including time in a senior or leadership roleStrong background in urban development projectsConfidence managing projects, clients and multidisciplinary teamsBachelor's degree in engineering and professional accreditationsSolid understanding of relevant standards, design practices and local regulatory requirementsNice to have:Experience in the local Queensland marketRPEQFamiliarity with tools such as 12D, AutoCAD, or civil design softwareExposure to civil infrastructure and transport projects an advantage but not criticalJust as important as your technical background is your ability to lead by example, communicate clearly,
